The San Diego Regional Water Quality Control Board now allows recycled water for residential irrigation, street sweeping and fire suppression among other uses in a July, 2015 engineering report. Recycled water can be supplied at local fill stations and hauled to customers.
Let’s get Laguna on some recycled water. Since LBCWD is not installing recycled water pipes during the drought, this local water source can be trucked to users and storage tanks or cisterns.
More recycled water means less ocean pollution in Laguna Beach and better wildfire protection.
