Chabad Jewish Center prepares for the Jewish new year with workshops and services at 30804 S. Coast Highway.
Children can participate in a challah bakery and shofar demonstration Thursday, Sept. 10, at 4:30 p.m. Wee ones 1 to 4 join in with a guitar sing along Thursday, Sept. 17, at 9:30 a.m.
Rosh Hashanah services begin at 7 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 13, and resume at 10 a.m., Monday and Tuesday, Sept. 14 and 15, with the shofar sounding at 12:30 p.m. A Tashlich service follows at Treasure Island Beach on Monday only.
