The high school sports season starts Aug. 13 with the first day of practice for boys water polo under new coach Robert Grayeli. Ethan Damato remains running the girls program.
The first match of the season is Friday, Aug. 24, at Los Osos.
Varsity league games will be held at the full size pools at Newport Harbor and Corona del Mar high schools. Laguna will host four non-league contests at the Laguna Community Pool: Sept. 11 with Damien, Sept. 12 verses Orange Lutheran, Sept. 28 with Murrieta Valley, and Oct. 1 hosting Dana Hills.
