More Streets Should be Off Limits

This letter was addressed to the City Council

In order to maintain a safe environment for all residents using some of the steepest roads in Laguna Beach, please adopt the proposed ordinance regulating skateboarding and roller skating.  In addition to prohibiting these activities on Bluebird Canyon, Morningside, Summit, Alta Vista, Temple Hills, Crestview/Diamond, and Third Street, common sense dictates to add these additional streets to list of prohibited streets:

Nyes Place and Park Avenue due to the steep grades combined with long distance. Rancho Laguna Road has a steep grade and serves as a connector to the already banned Bluebird Canyon and Morningside Drive.

Thank you for making Laguna Beach a safer place by placing restrictions on excessive speedboarding.

Peter Grohmann, Laguna Beach
