Sympathy for Skateboard Refugees (Not)

I applaud the recent article, “The Great Skateboard Diaspora,” for bringing to our attention the inhumane treatment of Laguna’s skateboard refugees.

Our teenagers forced out of their homeland, without a skate park to call their own, risk the great indignity of riding a public bus. Their tragic plight can no longer be ignored. The city must take action!
