Laguna Books Welcomes UCI Writing Program Director
Laguna Beach Books welcomes Ron Carlson, author of “Return to Oakpine” to the store on Sunday, July 28 at 4 p.m. at 1200 S. Coast Hwy.
Carlson will be answering questions and reading from his new work, a look at friendship, family, and the roads not taken between four men who are trying to make peace with who they are in the world.
Wildflower Experts Finally Bloom
The long awaited “Wildflowers of Orange County and the Santa Ana Mountains” has arrived. Robert Allen and Fred Roberts have spent a lifetime studying the region’s wildflower species.
The novice-friendly, technically accurate book has more the 600 wildflower illustrations.
The $35 book can be purchased at the Nix Nature Center or online.
